Connection without pressure

This is not a club. It's a strategy. Start small, stay consistent, and keep it human.

North Orange used to be orchards and groves. The vibe is still here if we choose it.

The connection strategy

  1. Build your mental map: your street, the houses next door, the blocks you walk.
  2. Find your people: parents, dog walkers, gardeners, cyclists, skaters, early-morning walkers.
  3. Make it stick: choose a simple rhythm (walk Tue/Thu, porch time Sunday, etc.).

Weekly rhythms

  • One neighborhood walk (same time each week).
  • Say hi to 3 people. Names if possible.
  • Pick one small improvement: pick up litter, sweep sidewalk, trim a branch.
  • Share one local find: trail, park, farmers market, or deal.

Seasonal traditions

  • Spring: seed swap or plant cuttings.
  • Summer: evening driveway hang for an hour.
  • Fall: neighborhood walk + cleanup.
  • Winter: food drive or warm-clothes drop.
